When I heard about the benefits of merino underwear I couldn't believe it, but it's all true and I found out for myself. A brilliant undergarment for prolonged physical activity - it keeps your body warm all the time, and when you sweat, the material 'sheds' the moisture to the outside and your skin and underwear stay dry, so your body stays warm. I tested it in the field for 24 hours in December and it kept me warm around the clock - during physical activity, at rest stops, including those of a few hours (outside, of course, the layers of clothing changed depending on the activity). I have a comparison with ordinary thermal underwear and hope never to go back to it again, the material once sweaty was wet all the time and the body then cooled down quickly. This set of merino underwear is really recommendable and great value for money. The only downside is that it gets wrinkled after washing in the washing machine (at 20 degrees C), for the future though I think it will be hand washed.

A nice nice touch set that looks good. I took size M instead of the standard L, at 192cm and slim figure and the M fits well. For bigger frosts you need to take something with a bigger weight.

A small minus for the sizing... The size given is definitely understated. I took a size L for 182cm tall, 85kg. Too big. I should exchange for an M but unfortunately I needed to use what was already there ;)
