Sleeping bag KADVA Dorma R right blue (KDV-B4B039-BL)
KADVA Dorma R touniversal and functional sleeping bag, created with outdoor enthusiasts in mind.It is perfect for overnight stays on colder nights, providing a comfortable rest in a variety of terrain conditions. Its well-thought-out design and high quality workmanship make it a reliable companion for all outdoor adventures.
The main advantage of the KADVA Dorma R is its fill made from advanced 250g/m3 polyester. This material creates effective thermal insulation, protecting against the cold and guaranteeing a comfortable night's sleep. Unlike down, polyester retains its insulating properties even when wet, which is crucial during changeable weather. In addition, thelightweight construction and ease of maintenance make this sleeping bag an ideal choice for active travellers who value reliability and comfort.
The Dorma R sleeping bag has been developed with the needs of users in colder climates in mind. Its thermal parameters include a comfort temperature of 14°C, a boundary temperature of 10°C and an extreme temperature of 0°C. These properties make the sleeping bag suitable for usein a variety of weather conditions, effectively protecting against heat loss. It is ideal for those camping inspring and early autumn.
This model stands out for its use of innovative Ripstop technology. This advanced method of fabric production significantlyincreases its strength, making the material more resistant to mechanical damage. In the event of a possible tear, the special structure of the Ripstop fabriceffectively inhibits the spread of damage, which directly translates into a longer service life of the sleeping bag. Such a solution is particularly valuable for users who prioritise durability and reliability of their outdoor equipment.
The KADVA Dorma R model offersa spacious construction measuring 220 x 75 cm, providing comfortable space for a single user. This size allows free movement while sleeping, regardless of the preferred position, which significantly increases the comfort of a night's rest.
The practicality of this sleeping bag is underlined by itscompact dimensions when packed - just 38 x 20 cm. This feature, combined with a low weight of 1.2 kg, makes the Dorma R extremely handy to transport. It fits easily into a rucksack, travel bag or luggage compartment, making it the ideal choicefor people who value mobility and comfort during outdoor expeditions.
A sleeping bag with synthetic filling, in the case of the polyester type, is easier to maintain than down models. Washing it as infrequently as possible is recommended, but if necessary, it can be washed with tennis balls to preserve its insulating properties. The use of special sheets allows for less frequent washing, which increases the life of the sleeping bag. Once damp, the sleeping bag does not lose its insulating properties when dried, which is a great advantage.
The Dorma sleeping bag is an extremelyversatile piece of equipment, ideal for camping, festivals, motorbike and horseback rallies, sailing trips, camps, chalets, hostels and many other occasions. Thanks to its versatility, this sleeping bagwill work in any situation, offering comfortable sleep and protection from the cold. The ability to use the sleeping bag in so many different scenarios makes it an indispensable piece of equipment for any traveller.

Can be combined with a second sleeping bag
The Dorma R sleeping bag has the option to be combined with another sleeping bag, with the zipper on the left side, to create a larger sleeping area for two people. This solution is ideal for couples or friends who want to sleep together while remaining comfortable and warm.

Warmth and comfort for the head
An additional feature of the sleeping bag is the head hood, which provides extra protection against the cold. The hood helps to keep you warm around your head, which is particularly important on colder nights. As a result, the sleeping bag offers even more comfort and protection, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

More freedom inside
The KADVA Dorma R sleeping bag has an envelope shape, which provides greater freedom of movement inside. This type of design allows for a more natural body positioning, which increases sleeping comfort. This makes the sleeping bag ideal for people who value space and comfort when resting.

SBS lock
The sleeping bag features an SBS zipper with a long drawstring that makes it easy to fasten and unfasten, even when you are already inside the sleeping bag. The SBS zipper is a high quality component that ensures smooth operation and durability, which is crucial for comfort.

Velcro cover
The KADVA sleeping bag is equipped with a Velcro flap covering the zipper slider, which prevents cold air from entering the inside of the sleeping bag. This practical solution increases thermal comfort and protects against unwanted unzipping of the zipper during sleep.

Design
The Dorma R is distinguished by its interesting two-colour design with a delicate graphic pattern. The aesthetic design of the sleeping bag makes it visually appealing and pleasant to use. The design of the sleeping bag emphasises its modernity and style, which further enhances its value.

It’s fine
Not bad for a budget option. It weighs 1181g including the bag. When packed, it measures 22 cm in diameter and 36 cm in height (about 13 litres – quite a lot, but acceptable – any rucksack from 40 litres upwards with a sleeping bag compartment should be able to fit it inside). Shining a torch through it shows that the insulation has no holes. The build quality is solid and meticulous. The outer fabric is thin and slippery. The inner lining is very pleasant to the touch (important when nights are warm and you’re sweating). A very sturdy sleeping bag stuff sack. The bag fits inside with no trouble. A new one has quite a substantial loft. I tested it at +18°C and had to unzip it and use it like a duvet. Even the best, most expensive synthetic fillings lose their loft after 250–300 nights. For budget fillings, this happens after about 50 nights. Whilst the comfort and limit temperatures are realistic, the extreme temperature rating is unrealistic. Around zero, every detail counts. Here, there’s no collar, no zip guard, a rectangular shape, and the stitching holding the insulation in place runs right through. A realistic extreme temperature is around +4/+5 °C. It’s important to remember that the insulation compresses beneath your body. It’s the mattress, not the sleeping bag, that provides comfort and insulation from below. It will therefore work best in any underheated rooms where a mattress is already present. Or for permanent campsites. Why? A good, lightweight mattress for hiking costs many times more to buy. And so you end up choosing a sleeping bag with better specifications. In the mountains, it’s only suitable for ‘bed without bedding’ accommodation (all year round). That’s what I bought it for. I have better ones, but I often think ‘it’s a shame to use them’. Nor do I always have to count every gram in my rucksack. It’s also a good choice for any emergency kits (the emergency services will provide a bed with a mattress and 1–2 woollen blankets, but the shelter, even if heated, will tend to be rather chilly).

Kadva Dorma
It’s lovely and well-made. We haven’t used it yet – we’re just wondering whether it’ll be suitable even on cooler summer evenings. We bought one for the right and one for the left so we could zip them together, but we haven’t tried that yet either.
I recommend it
My daughter is happy.
Quality
A very high-quality sleeping bag
Sleeping bag
It’s very warm; the outer fabric could have been better, but it’s brilliant for the price
Perfect
Great for camping – I slept in a hammock without any extra insulation underneath, and it was warm and comfortable.
Everything is fine

Works very well. Holds heat. Washes well.

The sleeping bag is warm. The nice thing about it is that it can be paired with a sleeping bag that has a left zip.
