The pedals have lived up to my expectations, to date I have only had the opportunity to ride 265 km on the platform and over this distance I have not once slipped a leg, despite many climbs and more difficult descents. As for the SPDs I will write an opinion after my riding experience. I thought they would look clumsy, but I was wrong. Aesthetically made. Highly recommend due to their great versatility.
