They lie well on the leg even with wider toes. Unfortunately for me the sole is too thick and there is too much padding, making the shoes quite heavy and not very breathable. Definitely cool for DH, especially at this price. Less cool if you are looking for something for touring, where the foot works harder and sweats more.
