HAGANE
Shimano brand reel design based on cold forged gearing. Such a gear is strong and offers greater resistance to overload than die-cast gears. The overall result is increased durability of the reel.
G-Free Body
G-Free Body technology has been developed to move the centre of gravity of the reel closer to the rod. This was achieved by raising the drive shaft by 19mm. This move has directed the centre of gravity towards the angler's hand, resulting in better ergonomics and easier use. The result is less hand fatigue when fishing.
