    Chakal is an offer from the renowned brand The North Face for all men who are looking not only for functionality but also for elegant design and environmental responsibility. 

    To ensure comfort during winter activities, proper clothing is key. The Chakal model provides this through the use of 2L membrane technology consisting of two layers. The outer fabric is inseparably bonded to the membrane, which together with the loosely fitting lining guarantees effective insulation and protection against harsh weather conditions. Thanks to the membrane with a rating of 15000, the pants feature increased water resistance.

    Heatseeker™ Eco is an insulation technology that provides warmth without the weight. Weighing only 640 g, these pants are lightweight yet offer excellent insulation. Ventilation is another advantage of this model, allowing for breathability and comfort during intense exertion.

    The material from which the pants are made is a blend of 94% recycled polyester and 6% elastane, providing flexibility and freedom of movement.

    Breathability

    2L double-layer membrane
    It is located under the outer layer of the trouser fabric. In addition, it is protected by a thin lining. Its function is to protect against moisture, rain, snow and to prevent the body from overheating during slope activities.
    Waterproof
    The water-repellent properties protect against moisture, rain and wetness during winter activities on the slopes. Thanks to the membrane, water does not penetrate and perspiration is wicked away, leaving the inner layers dry.
    Ventilation
    The right material provides the garment with ventilation, which is very important during activities on the slopes. The ventilation system prevents excessive overheating and sweating, helping to keep the body warm enough.
    Technologies
    DWR
    The DWR coating makes the fabric water repellent, so that water forms droplets on its surface and runs off instead of soaking in. This protects the fabric from getting wet quickly, providing greater comfort in wet conditions, but does not guarantee full water repellency.
    DryVent™
    An innovative membrane used in clothing that guarantees excellent protection against wind and water. Its special structure ensures adequate air permeability and allows excess moisture to escape to the outside.
    Heatseeker™ Eco
    Heatseeker™ Eco technology is a high-performance insulation made from 100% recycled polyester fibres. It is highly packable and has a very good warmth-to-weight ratio. In addition, it is characterised by being highly resilient, waterproof and hypoallergenic.
    StretchVent™
    Integrated into the trousers, the stuput has elastic under the sole to prevent slipping.
    Chimney Venting™
    A ventilation system in clothing from The North Face. It consists of strategically placed mesh zones through which fresh, dry air flows in and moist, hot air escapes. The system significantly improves wearing comfort and efficiency of movement.
