The modern design of the HEAD Radar ski helmet combines functionality to provide users with an unparalleled experience on the slopes.

The central element of this helmet is the integrated visor in silver-red S2 shades, offering 20% visible light transmission (VLT). It is an excellent option for skiers seeking clear visibility in various weather conditions. Moreover, the helmet allows for easy visor replacement, enabling users to quickly and efficiently adapt to dynamically changing conditions on the ski runs.

In-Mold technology ensures lightweight construction while maintaining a high level of safety. The 360° Microshell is an additional protective layer that distributes impact energy, protecting the head in case of an accident.

The inner cap, made of Microfur material, is soft and pleasant to the touch, enhancing wearing comfort. The neck guard and detachable ear pads respond to the needs of skiers seeking versatility and the ability to personalize their equipment.

The helmet is also equipped with comfortable foam, which further increases wearing comfort. The set includes a practical helmet bag, facilitating transport and storage. The product meets the EN 1077:2007 Class B standard, confirming its high quality and safety.

Impact protection

Fidlock fastener

The chin strap uses a Fidlock type fastener. This is a simple fastener that operates using magnets. Its operation is quick and easy, even with thick ski gloves. It is both strong and durable.

Active ventilation

The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.

Ergonomic design

The ergonomic shape ensures a high level of comfort when skiing. This helmet design allows undisturbed airflow, which also improves ventilation inside the shell.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Size adjustment using the BOA® system

This is an advanced helmet adjustment system using thin steel cables that allow the helmet to be adjusted even more precisely to the head. This system provides a quick vertical adjustment, even with one hand. It also prevents the material from rolling off during adjustment.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

Integrated viewfinder

The construction with an integrated visor guarantees a well-fitting visor to the shape of the helmet. In addition, the lens has a much larger surface area than that used in goggles, which increases the field of vision and, thanks to the large space between the visor and the face, corrective goggles can be worn without difficulty.

In-mould construction

This construction mainly combines different types of in mould foam of different hardnesses. These layers are closely linked to the outer layer of material, which is much harder. This construction makes the helmet extremely lightweight.

Anti-fog

An anti-fog coating that is applied, among other things, to the surface of specialised spectacle lenses. The Anti-fog coating retains its properties regardless of weather conditions, even when in contact with water. As a result, it contributes to maintaining undisturbed visual acuity, which increases the comfort and safety of the wearer.

BOA® Fit System

Fitting system, consisting of a strong line, hooks and an adjustable knob. It guarantees a stable and comfortable fit of the product to the shape of the body. The user has the possibility of very precise adjustment.

360° MICROSHELL

Used in the lower edge of the helmet, a special polycarbonate layer effectively prevents mechanical damage such as scratches and dents.

Sphere Fit

The Sphere Fit system ensures a precise and comfortable fit without pressure. Thanks to the elastic band, the fit is automatic, but can also be adjusted using the snap system on the back of the helmet.

Fidlock®

Magnetic locking systems, characterised by simplicity of use and durability. Modular technology provides the user with a multitude of fastening options.

Microfur

Soft and very pleasant to the touch fur used, among others, in helmets from Head. Provides warmth and a comfortable fit.

In-Mould

In-mold is a manufacturing method in which the outer shell of the helmet is permanently bonded to a layer of inner protective foam during moulding. This makes the helmet lighter, more durable and better absorbs impacts. The process also provides an aesthetically pleasing finish and increased structural durability.
