The lightweight and low-profile MOD1 construction not only looks stylish but also provides comfort without weighing down the head. The helmet shell is made from a combination of EPS and PC. EPS is a lightweight yet durable material that excellently absorbs impact energy, which is crucial for head protection in case of a collision. The polycarbonate used in the outer part of the shell adds extra strength and resistance to mechanical damage.

The magnetic FIDLOCK® buckle is a true breakthrough in ease of use. It allows for easy and quick fastening of the helmet without the need to remove gloves, which is especially practical in winter conditions.

The helmet is equipped with a constant ventilation system that effectively removes accumulated heat from inside the helmet. PC shell

The shell is made of durable polycarbonate. It is a durable and abrasion- and impact-resistant material, characterised by its low weight. It is able to dissipate more impact force than thermoplastic and is relatively cheap to produce, resulting in a more attractive helmet price.

Passive ventilation

Permanently integrated into the helmet, the ventilation channels let fresh air in through the openings at the front and let excess heat and moisture out through the rear openings. Thanks to this solution, the goggles do not evaporate and the head is kept comfortable during activity.

Fidlock fastener

The chin strap uses a Fidlock type fastener. This is a simple fastener that operates using magnets. Its operation is quick and easy, even with thick ski gloves. It is both strong and durable.

Size adjustment using the BOA® system

This is an advanced helmet adjustment system using thin steel cables that allow the helmet to be adjusted even more precisely to the head. This system provides a quick vertical adjustment, even with one hand. It also prevents the material from rolling off during adjustment.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

EPS inner shell

Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.

In-mould construction

This construction mainly combines different types of in mould foam of different hardnesses. These layers are closely linked to the outer layer of material, which is much harder. This construction makes the helmet extremely lightweight.

ASTM F2040 certification

This is an American safety standard, more stringent than the European CE 1077 ECC standard. The test involves dropping the helmet on three types of impact anvils at different speeds. However, point tests and chin strap tests are omitted. A helmet with this certification ensures safety during a crash.
