Glass with category S3 is designed for riding in strong and harsh sunlight. It will work well for people who are hypersensitive to light and on high-altitude slopes without shaded areas. It absorbs between 82 and 92% of light and has a darkened surface.

The photochromic windscreen provides comfort when driving in changing weather and lighting conditions. The photochromic lens adjusts the degree of darkening itself, protecting the eyes from sudden glare and preventing insufficient visibility when driving into shaded areas.

The glass has been coated with a special coating so that drops hitting its surface do not smear, but drip off. This does not impair visual acuity in difficult conditions. The glass itself is thus easy to keep clean, as the coating repels water and grease, and fingerprints wipe off very easily.

The polarised filter glass is effective in preventing glare from light reflecting off the surface of snow or other flat surfaces such as water. In addition, it enhances contrast and colours, which improves the driving experience and reduces eye fatigue.
