The main fabric of the jacket is a lightweight and durable 3-layer GORE-TEX laminate. It is characterized by excellent waterproofness and breathability. This combination ensures that even during intense exertion, moisture is effectively transported outside while protecting against rain or snow. However, Salewa went a step further by adding GORE-TEX PACLITE® material in strategic places. This solution significantly reduces the weight of the jacket and allows for compact packing.

The Salewa Ortles GTX 3L jacket, designed with demanding mountaineers in mind, combines elegance with functionality thanks to a tailored cut that provides freedom of movement during mountain activities.

A key element is the ventilation system under the arms with adjustable zippers located on the back of the shoulders, which allows for effective removal of excess heat and moisture during intense efforts. Additionally, careful welding of all seams guarantees waterproofness and full protection against rain.

To reduce the environmental impact of Salewa products, the jacket was made in accordance with ecological and social standards, and the materials used to produce the Ortles GTX 3L come 100% from recycled sources.
