A thicker layer is used in the front part to provide proper support, while thinner zones around the toes allow better sensitivity to footholds. An open space is left under the big toe, which increases sensitivity to surface contact. The second element of the internal structure is TPS+ rubber, which maintains the aggressive toe curl even after prolonged use. The tension running also through the instep eliminates looseness inside the shoe, ensuring a precise fit to the foot.

Heel stabilization and control in the rear part of the foot

The men's climbing shoes Evolv Phantom have a sole made of 4.2 mm thick TRAX® SAS rubber, which combines high grip with long-lasting abrasion resistance. This type of rubber provides stability and control both on friction surfaces and on micro-edges. Combined with the aggressive sole shape, it increases precision when placing the foot on small surfaces. The sole works synergistically with the internal AVT and TPS+ inserts, resulting in better force transfer from the entire foot to the contact point with the ground.
