The adapter itself is solidly made. And that would be about the pluses. The idea of adapting to a-head bridges is, unfortunately, a big under-design. The idea is that the bridge is seated directly on the adapter, and the pin that sticks out of it is located in the groove of the bridge next to the bolts that clamp onto the steerer tube. BUT, if someone doesn't have the kind of bridge shown in the photo, there's no chance of fitting it - the front of the adapter, although lowered (in the photo, the place with the drawn arrow) interferes with every mtb bridge (I've tried fitting 4 - from flat 33mm long ones, to ones with 30 degrees of rise and 100m long). It's impossible to fit a regular bridge without a shim, and it's impossible to fit a shim because then you won't fit a pin and the adaptor won't lock, causing the seat to rotate with very little force. TLDR: for city bikes only
