      "I bought the X Ultra GTX for the second time. Size hard to fit 41.1/3 too short and 42 too long. Both sizes in width ok, they hold in the heel, but the length is not good. The shoes on the top are all black. To break up the black, I replaced the laces with a white version from Salomon's range and the shoe looks better. I previously wore a white version of this model for 2 years. Unfortunately, the quality of the materials was terrible, the tips turned yellow and after the first rains, the surface developed stains which could not be washed off. I hope that now, in black, nothing bad will happen. From winter experience, the material of the shoe is thin and I would not recommend staying in even a light frost for a long time. For summer they are perfect. The sole is firm and holds up well on light terrain.

      How to measure the length of your foot - instructions in 4 steps

      1. Prepare a sheet of paper and set it on a hard, non-slippery surface - it is best to tape it to the floor.

      2 Stand barefoot on a piece of paper - distribute your body weight evenly and set your foot straight.

      3. Mark the tip of the big toe and the back of the heel - preferably holding the pencil vertically.

      4. Take off the foot and measure the distance between the marks - this is the length of the foot. Repeat for the other foot and choose a larger measurement, matching it to the size chart.
