Glazing category S3

The category S3 windscreen is designed for riding in strong and harsh sunlight. It will work well for people who are hypersensitive to light and on high-altitude slopes without shaded areas. It absorbs between 82 and 92% of light and has a darkened surface.

Glazing category S2

The lens with the S2 category is the most versatile. It will work well on a slightly cloudy day as well as when the sun is not too strong. It absorbs between 57 and 82% of light and has a slightly darkened surface.

Photochromic window

The photochromic windscreen provides comfort when driving in changing weather and lighting conditions. The photochromic lens adjusts the degree of darkening itself, protecting the eyes from sudden glare and preventing insufficient visibility when driving into shaded areas.

Anti-Fog coating

Temperature fluctuations can cause unwanted fogging on the inside of the lens. To prevent this effect from occurring, the lens is treated with a special coating that prevents fogging. This increases safety and comfort when on the slopes.

An anti-fog coating that is applied, among other things, to the surface of specialised spectacle lenses. The Anti-fog coating retains its properties regardless of weather conditions, even when in contact with water. Tapered Lens Technology (TLT)

TLT cone lens technology is a technology that corrects distortion by gradually narrowing the lens from the optical centre towards the outer edge. This ensures that light waves reach the eye in a straight line, without distortion and with true optical clarity.

QUICK-FIT

QUICK-FIT technology is a quick-adjust system for adjusting the length of the strap using a clip and buckle, which prevents the goggles from slipping.

Smith MAG™

The glass replacement system used by the Smith brand. Thanks to the use of strong N52 weatherproof magnets, glass replacement is extremely simple and intuitive. The magnets attract and guide the lens into position, and by pressing a lever on either side of it, the lens is quickly released and replaced. Meanwhile, the design of the holders, located in the corners of the glass, has been thought out so as not to cause damage to the glass when replacing it.

AirEvac™

AirEvac™ technology, by Smith, offers excellent air circulation in the goggles, which are fully integrated into the helmet. Thanks to the adapted design of the helmet, warm air is not trapped and collected between the goggles and the helmet, but flows further through the helmet's ventilation system. Thanks to this solution, there is no problem with foggy lenses.

ChromaPop™

The ChromaPop™ filter lens provides excellent vision and natural colours, allowing details to be seen clearly. With a normal lens, the retina struggles to see the differences between primary colours. With ChromaPop™, which filters two specific wavelengths of light and blends the colours together, this problem is ruled out.

Porex™

Smith's patented Porex™ filter eliminates optical distortion caused by changes in altitude. It equalizes the pressure between the two panes of glass and the air outside.

BirdsEye Vision™

Smith's patented lens design, which allows for an extra wide angle of vision during winter sports. Thanks to this technology, the field of vision has been increased by up to 25% compared to Smith's MAG I/O.
