Atomic Backland Carbon also feature Frictionless Pivot and Free/Lock 4.0 mechanisms with a ski/walk mode, which guarantee natural foot movement and effortless climbing. Using polymer Igus bushings, the Frictionless Pivot technology allows for completely natural foot movement during climbing.
