The HEAD Mojo children's ski helmet is a combination of innovation and proven quality that HEAD is known for in the sports equipment market. This is not an ordinary children's helmet — it is the result of years of research and experience by the company in creating products for the most demanding skiers. MOJO, although designed with the youngest users in mind, does not compromise on safety and comfort compared to its adult counterparts.

The key advantage is the use of In-Mold technology, which combines lightness with excellent impact resistance. The outer shell is made of solid polycarbonate, while the inner layer of EPS foam effectively absorbs shocks. This allows the youngest to fully enjoy movement while providing them with comprehensive protection.

We understand the importance of good visibility on the slope. That is why the distinctive design of the Mojo helmet not only adds aesthetics but also increases safety by making the child easily noticeable on the slope. Additionally, the helmet meets the safety standard EN 1077:2007 class B requirements, which guarantees its high-quality protection.

Advantages

PC shell

The shell is made of durable polycarbonate. It is a durable and abrasion- and impact-resistant material, characterised by its low weight. It is able to dissipate more impact force than thermoplastic and is relatively cheap to produce, resulting in a more attractive helmet price.

Passive ventilation

Permanently integrated into the helmet, the ventilation channels let fresh air in through the openings at the front and let excess heat and moisture out through the rear openings. Thanks to this solution, the goggles do not evaporate and the head is kept comfortable during activity.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Buckle fastening

The chin strap uses a classic buckle fastening. It is easy to use, but fastening and unfastening it can be problematic with winter gloves. It will work well with helmets designed for slightly older children.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

EPS inner shell

Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.

In-mould construction

This construction mainly combines different types of in mould foam of different hardnesses. These layers are closely linked to the outer layer of material, which is much harder. This construction makes the helmet extremely lightweight.
