The UVEX Jakk+ IAS helmet was created for those who do not compromise on safety and comfort.

Thanks to the unique hardshell technology, the outer layer of the helmet is not only solid but also extremely impact-resistant. Combined with EPS foam, the interior of the helmet perfectly absorbs shocks, protecting the head from injuries, while the insulation provides protection against the cold.

The Natural Sound System allows you to enjoy clear sound, while the FAS system ensures that the helmet always stays in place.

Modernity and functionality go hand in hand in the UVEX Jakk+ IAS ski helmet, and the best proof of this is the practical monomatic buckle. Thanks to this innovative solution, fastening and unfastening the helmet becomes extremely simple and quick. Importantly, the monomatic buckle can be operated with one hand, which is an invaluable advantage in difficult conditions on the slope or when wearing ski gloves.

Advantages

Hardshell construction

The construction combines two layers. One In mould layer with a much harder and thicker outer shell layer. These layers are not closely interconnected and the helmet itself is nevertheless characterised by a higher weight thanks to this construction.

Passive ventilation

Permanently integrated into the helmet, the ventilation channels let fresh air in through the openings at the front and let excess heat and moisture out through the rear openings. Thanks to this solution, the goggles do not evaporate and the head is kept comfortable during activity.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

Monomatic fastening

The chin strap uses a Monomatic type closure. This is a very precise locking system that allows multi-stage adjustment. Operating this fastener with ski gloves is not a problem, and the system itself does not allow spontaneous release.

Coolmax®

A type of polyester fibre used in sportswear to protect against high temperatures. The cooling technology wicks moisture away from the skin onto a layer of fabric from which it quickly evaporates, keeping you feeling dry.

FAS

Fas Adapting System - The strap system responsible for the precise fit of the UVEX helmet. It ensures that the helmet adapts well to the different head shapes and holds firmly in any situation. It thus increases safety and comfort.

Hardshell

Special helmet shell moulding technology applied to EPS foam. Guarantees high resistance to external impacts and absorbs shocks.
