Okuma Helios SX silver spinning reel (HSX)

The Okuma Helios SX reel is a lightweight and extremely durable reel, whose body is made of C-40X carbon. It is a blend of graphite polymer with elongated and reinforced carbon fibers. Additionally, the body design incorporates TORSION CONTROL ARMOR® technology, which prevents twisting under significant load.

The rotor is made from the same material as the body. Furthermore, it is enhanced with Cyclonic Flow Rotor technology, which increases airflow inside, allowing faster drying in case water gets inside.

Eight high-quality stainless steel bearings ensure smooth operation of the Okuma Helios SX model. The anti-reverse mechanism is handled by a corrosion-resistant one-way bearing, Quick-Set Anti-Reverse.

Complementing the body is a rigid, aluminum-cut, anodized handle. It is finished with a knob covered with EVA foam.

The spool of this model, made of aluminum, is anodized, making it corrosion-resistant.
