A windscreen with an S2 rating is the most versatile. It works well during a slightly cloudy day as well as when the sun is not too strong. It absorbs between 57 and 82% of light and has a slightly darkened surface.
Hydrophobic coating
The glass has been coated with a special coating so that drops hitting its surface do not smear, but drip off. This does not impair visual acuity in difficult conditions. The glass itself is thus easy to keep clean, as the coating repels water and grease, and fingerprints wipe off very easily.
