    Men's CAPiTA Defenders Of Awesome coloured snowboard 1221105/154 (1221105)

    CAPiTA Defenders Of Awesome is one of the more popular snowboard models, which has gained recognition from many users. Innovative solutions meet the expectations of advanced snowboarders.

    Reinforcements made of lightweight carbon strips along the board increase its power and responsiveness. The board also stands out with the use of MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN and inserts above and below the core made of SPECIAL BLEND FIBERGLASS, which enhance the board's strength and durability. The eco-friendly resin provides the board with good properties without negatively affecting its weight.  

    A novelty in this board model is the core P2 SUPERLIGHT CORE™, which combines two types of wood: poplar and paulownia. This combination allowed for a very strong and energetic core with reduced weight. To increase the durability of this model, FORTRESS™ ARAMID BOUND SIDEWALLS were used, which protect the board from damage. Aramid fiber also offers good vibration damping.

    The Defenders Of Awesome board uses full sidewalls made of ABS and high-quality 4 x 2 stainless steel inserts, and its finish features a Multitech™ Level 5 DeepSpace™ laminate with a PAM16000™ top layer.

    The versatile and lightweight core for maximum pop is impact resistant. Thanks to its stability, it will prove its worth for both professional jumps in the snowpark and freeride on variable terrain. It is made from a blend of poplar and paulownia in equal proportions.
    SPECIAL BLEND FIBERGLASS
    SPECIAL BLEND is a special process for applying double-weave glass fibres to the top and bottom layers of the core. The ingredients used in the eco-friendly MAGIC BEAN™ resin ensure higher technical properties and the production itself requires less energy.
    CARBON FIBER
    Known for its stiffness, high tensile strength, low weight, high temperature tolerance and low thermal expansion, carbon fibre is one of the most popular materials.
    FORTRESS™ ARAMID BOUND
    The solution used in CAPiTA brand snowboards. It consists of reinforcing the sidewalls with modern aramid fibre along the entire length of the edge. Thanks to this, the sidewall permanently bonds to the core.
    PAM16000™ PRINTING
    A printing technology using sixteen thousand ink jets, without the use of solvents. The resulting water-based ink graphics are sharp and clear.
    MULTITECH™
    Technology for applying multi-layer laminate to a board.
    SUBLIMATION
    A technology which involves injecting ink under high pressure through the top layer of the board into the base material. It produces a full-length and intense print.
    SILKSCREEN
    This is a printing technique that involves creating a pattern on a fine mesh grid. At the CAPiTA factory, some of the prints are produced by hand.
