MIPS®
Multidirectional Impact Protection System - A common impact protection system used in helmets. Its purpose is to protect against the rotational movement that occurs during a severe impact. MIPS absorbs the first shock, minimising the risk of brain damage.
Hardshell
Special helmet shell moulding technology applied to EPS foam. Guarantees high resistance to external impacts and absorbs shocks.
Neckgator
Neck guard for ski helmets from Head. It adjusts to the circumference of the neck. Thanks to the soft padding, it provides maximum wearing comfort, comfort and warmth.
Inner cap
A solution for a soft, pressure-free fit of the ski helmet to the head, thanks to the microfleece lining. It protects the head from gusts of cold air and the mesh sections provide adequate ventilation.
Dual Density Core
Modern helmet construction patented by the Head brand. It consists of a double-density EPS material. Helmets enhanced with this construction meet the strict requirements of the FIS RH 2013 standards.
