The category S3 windscreen is designed for riding in strong and harsh sunlight. It will work well for people who are hypersensitive to light and on high-altitude slopes without shaded areas. It absorbs between 82 and 92% of light and has a darkened surface.
Glazing category S1
An S1-rated windscreen works well when riding on cloudy and foggy days, as well as at night on the slopes with artificial lighting. Absorbing between 20 and 57% of light, they are clear and usually slightly tinted.
Hydrophobic coating
The lens has been coated with a special coating so that drops hitting the lens surface do not smear, but drip off. This does not impair visual acuity in difficult conditions. The lens itself is thus easy to keep clean, as the coating repels water and grease, and fingerprints rub off very easily.
OTG design
OTG, or Over The Glasses, is information for those who wear corrective glasses. The goggles are designed so that the space underneath can easily accommodate glasses without causing uncomfortable pressure. Goggles with OTG are the choice for people who don[t like to ride with a visor integrated into the helmet, but don[t want to give up comfort when riding.
Technology in ski goggles developed for people who wear glasses. It is based on a small cut in the side foam that allows the goggles to be used while wearing glasses. It provides a comfortable fit without discomfort.
FogStop
It is an anti-fog coating used on the inside of the lenses of Alpina brand glasses and goggles. It guarantees clear vision, even in high humidity.
Airframe Venting System
An intelligent ventilation system used in Alpina ski goggles. Thanks to the ventilation holes with foam covers on the sides and bottom of the goggles, constant air movement is possible inside the goggle body, which disperses moisture and prevents the lens from evaporating.
Double Lens Thermoblock
The use of an air chamber between the twin lenses prevents fogging of the inner lens.
