The Gems ski helmet from the Alpina brand features ventilation holes distributed across its entire surface, ensuring perfect airflow. The Airstream Control system allows you to open and close the upper vents, providing additional regulation of air circulation. This feature can be a lifesaver in sunny mountain weather.

For extra protection, the helmet has a low rear coverage and a hybrid shell structure that distributes forces exerted by objects striking the helmet. This model includes an easy-to-clean sheep wool lining, which further enhances wearing comfort.

Reinforced lower edges of the Alpina Gems helmet guarantee its durability while protecting against external damage.

Maintaining the helmet's cleanliness is convenient thanks to the removable and washable padding. This ensures not only comfort but also hygiene, which is essential after intense days on the slopes.

Designed for ease and confidence of use, the helmet features a twist-resistant strap buckle with a multi-stage automatic clasp. This provides not only quick putting on and taking off of the helmet but also a secure fit.

PC shell

The shell is made of durable polycarbonate. It is a durable and abrasion- and impact-resistant material, characterised by its low weight. It is able to dissipate more impact force than thermoplastic and is relatively cheap to produce, resulting in a more attractive helmet price.

Active ventilation

The active ventilation system allows the airflow to be individually controlled to suit current needs. Thanks to this solution, excess warm air and moisture will be vented to the outside, without being exposed to excessive cooling.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

EPS inner shell

Under the outer, impact-resistant shell, there is an inner layer made of polystyrene. It has a varying density and its main function is to absorb the force of impact during an accident. It provides a good level of safety.

Ergomatic clasp

The chin strap uses an Ergomatic-type fastener, which is highly durable. It allows multi-stage adjustment at the touch of a button and locking of the buckle. Ergomatic can even be operated with ski gloves.
