The helmet is designed to provide safety and comfort on the slopes. Salomon created the Pioneer Lt Visor helmet, which offers a high level of safety. Under the outer hard yet light shell made of PC is the patented Salomon EPS 4D foam. It is responsible for excellent absorption of energy from lateral and vertical impacts. The Pioneer meets European and American safety standards for ski helmets.
The Pioneer Lt Visor is a fairly lightweight model, equipped with an integrated visor. It is a good choice for those who do not want to worry about individually fitting goggles to the helmet, and especially for those who wear prescription glasses. Thanks to the special design and the large space between the helmet and the face, the glasses will not press.
The integrated visor features an ML Mid blue lens of category S2. It not only offers 100% protection against harmful UV radiation but also allows you to enjoy a clear view in varied weather conditions.
Comfort while skiing is ensured by the helmet’s very good ventilation system, AirFlow System. Numerous ventilation channels running through the EPS 4D lining enable optimal airflow, which can be adjusted, and also provide excess heat dissipation and maintain an even temperature.

Salomon is a very high quality helmet! I have measured other manufacturers and brands, so they lose in terms of quality of materials and ergonomics for this price. I have a volume of 59 cm, size M (56-59) fit like a glove, I measured the size 59-62 was too big even when fully tightened, so it's better to take a slightly smaller size.
