Very good, lightweight shoes – my son is happy with them and has put them through their paces on some demanding trips.

They don’t get dirty

Comfortable, and they’ve proved their worth on long mountain hikes. We’d buy them again.

Vibram sole and gore-tex for a good price in a MID shoe. The Vibram has good traction, but it's a lower end cheap shoe for light, maybe moderate terrain. The soft upper doesn't squeeze the foot, it will allow the foot to move in the boot, so it can't fix it completely. The ankle protection is not extreme, but against direct impact and abrasion the boot will protect you but you will feel it. It's more of a walking shoe for light hiking, it's not a tank like the LOWA Renegate. Otherwise, price performance + goretex for the money ratio for easy hiking good.

Very good shoes

Revelation.

Absolute world champion. I only use branded, expensive trekking shoes. In this competition, the Merrell company is a shot in the arm. The shoes are so beautiful that you can't take your eyes off them. Plus they are unbelievably light and just as comfortable. The numbering fits as if they were made to measure. They genuinely breathe, the leg is ventilated, full air conditioning. The sole is impressive and we'll see if it will be an oh and ah when we return from the mountain trails. I'll add the rest then.

Goretex at a good price

They look very good in person, interesting colour scheme. At this price, boots with vibram sole and membrane are a very good deal. The sole a little slippery in the wet, but that's probably because they're new.
