It is a single rope attached, for example, to the ceiling with a dedicated handle and finished with a handle made of e.g. PVC (for a comfortable grip and to prevent the rope from becoming untangled). How do I choose the right exercise rope and what should I look for when shopping?When choosing an exercise rope, go for models made of durable and waterproof materials and with a thick weave, such as polyurethane, polypropylene, sisal (fibre from a special type of agave) or nylon. The ends of the rope are important - they should be tightly braided and protected with an insulating material (e.g. rubber) to prevent fraying. The handles should be ergonomic - this guarantees a comfortable grip. Some models have additional straps at the handles, which are worn on the wrists to prevent the rope from fraying. In order to ensure the appropriate intensity of power rope exercises, attention should be paid to the diameter (from approx. 3-5 cm), length (from approx. 9-15 m) and weight of the equipment. In general, the longer, heavier and thicker the rope, the more resistance it gives and the greater the force required to set it in motion.
