Usage:
- During periods of high loads (requiring microcycles, stage starts) – as an element of the recovery strategy post-training focused on supporting the anti-inflammatory response;
- After intense or prolonged exertion – as an additional source of carbohydrates to support the initiation of glycogen resynthesis, especially with a short time to the next session;
- In post-exercise strategy: as a supplement to carbohydrate intake (ultimately along with protein in a meal), adjusted to body mass, energy expenditure and time until the next training or event.
