Two-layer V-Science 2L membrane

The construction features a two-layer V-Science 2L membrane, which is permanently bonded to the outer fabric and complemented by a loose lining. This solution provides a high level of waterproofness and windproofness, while ensuring very good breathability during dynamic descents. The Volcom Roan model is also equipped with PFC-free DWR technology, which reduces moisture absorption by the fabric surface.

Eco-friendly materials and construction details

Recycled polyester fabrics were used in production, making up 46% of the outer material and 100% of the lining, reducing environmental impact. Taped seams increase durability and waterproofness, while the zip fly and waist adjustment allow for a personalised fit. The flared legs provide freedom of movement and compatibility with snowboard boots.

Comfort-enhancing systems

The model features the Zip Tech® system, which enables a secure connection with Volcom jackets, minimising snow ingress under the clothing. Extensive ventilation zones effectively dissipate excess heat, and zippered pockets increase functionality during a full day on the slopes. The relaxed fit cut supports freedom of movement and comfort during winter activities.
