The 2L construction, based on a two-layer membrane permanently bonded to the outer fabric and a separate lining, increases the jacket's resistance to moisture penetration and effectively wicks away moisture during intense exertion. The applied DWR coating gives the fabric water-repellent properties, allowing water droplets to slide off its surface. The BOGNER FIRE+ICE Tajo-T model is also equipped with taped seams, which eliminate the possibility of seepage in critical areas.

The jacket is made from 100% recycled polyester, reflecting a conscious choice of environmentally friendly materials.
