As soon as the shoes arrived, I got dressed and tore up the asphalt with them for about 1 hour and 20 minutes on a 15 km run around the city of Bistrita in Transylvania (Romania). After the feeling from the first run with them, the Hoha Clifton 10 are much better than the 9 that I ran with last season 2025. If the 9 bothered me a bit when running after 10 km in the toes having a burning sensation, I think because they were too tight in the toe area, the HC 10 are updated as needed, they have enough space in the toes, they are wider and this discomfort does not appear even after 15 km of running and I even put pressure on them on a Zone 4 threshold-tempo run. So, wider space and without discomfort. Then, we have a thicker sole that gives you a huge feeling of fluffiness and even if you seem to be floating, the feeling when running is of stability and your ankles don't run away considering that they have an extra 8 mm. Then, another positive point to note is that they also worked with the update in the heel area which gives you a feeling of stability and comfort. So, I am 100% satisfied with the Hoka Clifton 10. I am a hobby runner. I run about 70 to 90 km a month. Hoka Clifton 10 are perfect for me even for longer distances. They have plenty of room in the front. They cushion well and I like to run in them. They are breathable and after about 200 kilometres I have nothing to complain about. I recommend them.

I'll start with the only small downside: the heel hold is a little too weak, causing the foot to run slightly inwards. I compared with the Asics NovaBlast 5 and here there is, apart from the heel hold, the same comfort. I checked in parallel the Saucony Triumph (more room in the toe), Asics Gel Nimbus 27 (tight toe box and too much selected sole under the toes), Hoka Bondi 9 (too narrow in the front of the foot), Hoka Arahi 7 (completely ruined compared to the 6 I have run in so far). In summary very nice shoes, comfortable, with nice cushioning. We'll see how they perform with heel hold over time.
