The uniquely curved shape of the MetaRocker™ sole is responsible for smooth and efficient foot transition, initiating movement from the moment the heel contacts the ground. The thoughtful geometry supports the natural rhythm of running, while the rear part of the shoe is further enhanced with Active Foot Frame™ technology, which stabilises the foot without restricting freedom of movement.
Durable sole with excellent grip
The Clifton 10 offers solid traction thanks to strategically placed rubber elements on the outsole. The rubber with increased abrasion resistance is located in areas particularly susceptible to wear, significantly extending the shoe's lifespan. I am a hobby runner. I run about 70 to 90 km a month. Hoka Clifton 10 are perfect for me even for longer distances. They have plenty of room in the front. They cushion well and I like to run in them. They are breathable and after about 200 kilometres I have nothing to complain about. I recommend them.

I'll start with the only small downside: the heel hold is a little too weak, causing the foot to run slightly inwards. I compared with the Asics NovaBlast 5 and here there is, apart from the heel hold, the same comfort. I checked in parallel the Saucony Triumph (more room in the toe), Asics Gel Nimbus 27 (tight toe box and too much selected sole under the toes), Hoka Bondi 9 (too narrow in the front of the foot), Hoka Arahi 7 (completely ruined compared to the 6 I have run in so far). In summary very nice shoes, comfortable, with nice cushioning. We'll see how they perform with heel hold over time.
