ATTABO SANO 4.0 is a modern cross bike that combines comfort, performance and versatility, performing perfectly both in the city and on gravel roads or forest trails. With its lightweight aluminium frame, SR Suntour suspension fork, precise Shimano CUES drivetrain and reliable hydraulic brakes, this model provides a smooth and dynamic ride in a variety of off-road conditions.
Frame and geometry
The ATTABO SANO 4.0 frame is made from high-quality 6061 aluminium, which combines lightness with exceptional resistance to damage and corrosion. This makes the bike not only easy to ride, but also durable and suitable for intensive use.
Two frame sizes are available:
- 18" - for riders with a height of 165-180 cm,
- 20" - for users measuring 180-195 cm.
The geometry used, with a 70° head tube angle, provides excellent stability and predictable handling, which translates into better control in dynamic riding conditions. The well-chosen length of the top tube and optimum height of the bottom bracket make the position on the bike comfortable and natural, and the rider's silhouette is not excessively inclined.
Amortised fork
The bike's Suntour SF20 NEX fork with 63 mm travel effectively dampens vibrations and improves riding comfort on varied surfaces. Thanks to Piston Compensator System (PCS) technology, the suspension provides better grip and a smoother ride, resulting in greater control of the bike both on tarmac and on forest or gravel paths.
Handlebar - precise handling
Bike ATTABO SANO 4.0 is equipped with an aluminium handlebar with a width of 640 mm and a backsweep of 6°, which ensures comfortable hand positioning and precise steering. Thanks to its ergonomic shape, the handlebars make it easier to maintain a stable position and reduce arm fatigue, which is crucial on longer rides.
Shimano CUES drivetrain - performance and smooth gear changes
The bike features a 9-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain, which offers exceptional precision performance and durability. The use of LINKGLIDE technology in the Shimano CUES components makes the drivetrain more resistant to wear and tear and ensures smooth operation even after many kilometres of intensive riding. The Shimano CUES SL-U4000 handlebar supports RAPIDFIRE PLUS technology, allowing you to change gears instantly - even by several gears at once. This is particularly useful for sudden changes of pace and riding over varied terrain.
Shimano CUES CS-LG300 cassette - wide range of gear ratios
The heart of the drivetrain is the Shimano CUES CS-LG300 cassette, offering a wide range of gear ratios. Graduating from 11-46T, it allows you to comfortably tackle both steep climbs and develop higher speeds on the straights.
Thanks to LINKGLIDE technology the cassette shows increased wear resistance and provides smooth gear changes, resulting in greater riding comfort and longevity of the entire drivetrain.

The hydraulic disc brakes of the Shimano MT-200 with 160 mm discs are responsible for riding safety. This system provides perfect modulation of the braking force, allowing for smooth and controlled stopping even on wet pavement.
Shimano rear derailleur CUES
The key component of the drivetrain is the Shimano CUES RD-U4000 rear derailleur, which uses SHADOW RD technology. This means a low-profile design that minimises the risk of damage to the derailleur in difficult terrain. Reduced chain tension improves the stability of the drive.
Wheels - lightweight and strong
The bike rides on aluminium 32H double-chambered rims which, combined with aluminium hubs and 14G steel spokes, guarantee durability and load resistance. The lightweight construction of the wheels makes the bike manoeuvrable, while cushioning uneven surfaces well.
Saddle - comfort on long journeys
The bike is equipped with the ergonomic DDK-D072 saddle, which ensures comfort even during long hours of riding. The ZOOM seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm allows for precise height adjustment, so that each rider can tailor the settings to their preferences.
Comfortable grips - secure and comfortable
The 130 mm long rubber grips provide a secure and comfortable grip, reducing vibration and hand fatigue on longer rides. The non-slip surface guarantees stability even when riding in wet conditions.
Tyres - excellent grip
The Kenda Piedmont K1185 tyre in size 700x45C provides the optimum balance between grip and low rolling resistance. Thanks to their well-designed tread, they perform well on both paved surfaces and light terrain.
