Pertex® Shield membrane and DWR coating

The Rab Downpour features a 2.5-layer Pertex® Shield membrane that effectively blocks moisture while maintaining high breathability. The outer fabric is finished with a DWR coating, enhancing water repellency and allowing water droplets to run off the jacket’s surface. This solution ensures comfort during heavy rain and active movement.

Eco-friendly materials and recycling

The jacket is made from 100% recycled polyester, reflecting Rab’s commitment to the environment. The use of safe raw materials and planet-friendly technologies emphasises the eco-conscious nature of the Downpour model. The jacket combines innovative fibres with an advanced membrane without compromising functionality or protection.

Design and practical details

The jacket features adjustable cuffs with Velcro, a helmet-compatible hood, and a full-length YKK® zip for quick fastening and comfortable wear. Additional zippered pockets allow secure storage of small items while walking or cycling.
