Advantages
Breathability
The breathable material in winter clothing ensures good air circulation, which eliminates the risk of overheating. This, in turn, efficiently reduces perspiration, so that the clothes underneath stay dry, keeping the wearer comfortable.
2L double-layer membrane
The membrane combined with the inner and outer layers of fabric gives high resistance to harsh weather conditions, precipitation, wind, cold. It works well during sports activities, increasing the comfort of the wearer.
Hydrophobicity
Being made of water repellent fabric means that moisture is repelled, preventing subsequent layers from getting wet. This means that even in bad weather you can play your favourite sport and the garment underneath will remain dry.
Chin guard
The chin guard is an added bonus for comfort on the slopes. A soft finish covers the zipper, which could irritate and rub a snowboarder[s skin. With the zipper protected in this way, you are assured that nothing will cause irritation.
Snow belt
Provides protection against snow encroaching under the jacket. It allows the fabric to adhere to the body. This solution ensures dryness and eliminates heat loss.
Ventilation
During increased activity, the body can emit more heat, which can lead to increased sweating and discomfort. Ventilation holes allow excess heat to be quickly dissipated and maintain the correct temperature.
Durable, bonded seams
To minimise the risk of water seepage in harsh winter conditions, the construction uses taped seams. They block the passage of water and cold gusts of wind, while remaining highly durable.
Helmet-compatible hood
The size and shape of the hood allows it to be pulled comfortably over the helmet. This solution provides additional protection against adverse weather conditions in the mountains. The hood itself also provides good protection against cold and cold weather.
YKK® AquaGuard®
YKK AQUAGUARD waterproof zips used to protect the fabric from moisture. They have a glossy polyurethane finish to retain water.
GORE-TEX®
A fabric used in sports clothing, shoes and accessories. Provides high levels of waterproofing, wind protection and ventilation.
DWR
The DWR coating makes the fabric water repellent, so that water forms droplets on its surface and runs off instead of soaking in. This protects the fabric from getting wet quickly, providing greater comfort in wet conditions, but does not guarantee full water repellency.
Primaloft® Black
A basic version of the insulating material used in clothing that provides optimum protection during winter activities.
Cohaesive™
Easy drawstring adjustment system. The ability to adjust with one hand and gloves makes it ideal for use with sweatshirts or jackets during winter activities. Additionally, it protects the jacket from slipping out from under the harness during climbing.
