The materials used and the technologies employed make it significantly easier to control while skiing. This naturally translates into increased safety on the slopes and greater efficiency.
Stability
In order to enjoy good stability when skiing, the ski must be properly matched to the skier[s height and weight, as well as their level of skiing, so attention should be paid to the length, waist and width of the ski. On this model, the extra core and vibration damping systems improve stability.
Wooden core
The core, or central structure of the ski, is made from high-quality natural wood. It is characterised by high flex resistance, good vibration dampening and relatively low resonance, which is reflected in the comfort of the ski.
GripWalk
A system used in the soles of ski boots to improve walking comfort. The GripWalk soles are fully coated with a high-friction material for grip on any surface. The integrated ribbed tread enables direct and efficient energy transfer to the bindings.
EMC
Energy Management Circuit - this is a component located at the front and back of the skis from HEAD. It has a piezoelectric plate that absorbs the mechanical energy of the vibrations that occur during skiing. This energy is then converted into electrical energy, which stabilises the ski and improves snow grip.
Graphene
Technology involving the use of a one-atom-thick material characterised by extreme lightness and strength in the construction of snowboards, skis and also tennis racquets. This makes the equipment efficient and allows for proper balancing.
ERA 3.0 S
A technology in the ski that is an upgraded version of ERA 3.0. It is a combination of rocker and camber construction, which is dedicated to dynamic and sporty skiing. At the same time, the system ensures optimum ski feel and turn initiation.
AFS
Anti Friction Slider - a slippery plate from TYROLIA used by, among others, the Head brand in ski bindings. It ensures that the boot slides out of the binding safely and quickly in the event of a fall, for example. It also helps you to centre your boots precisely when skiing.
FHR
Full Heel Release (FHR) is a system that provides intelligent release of the ski boot. It allows 180° rotation in both the vertical and lateral planes, increasing safety during a fall. This mechanism significantly minimises the risk of injury by adapting to the direction of the force acting on the ski.
Full Diagonal Toe
The Full Diagonal Toe tilt provides 180° release action, both horizontally and vertically. This solution offers maximum safety, especially in situations where a fall by twisting backwards occurs.
TRP - Toe System
The TRP - Toe system allows 180-degree release of the toes, which significantly reduces impact forces. It is an advanced technology that increases comfort and safety in use.
