Windproof

A special construction was used in production to provide full wind protection, allowing trekking and hiking even on very windy days.

Hydrophobicity

The ability to repel water molecules provides weather protection during wet weather activities.

Heat

Specially selected materials and construction ensure optimum warmth, in strategic locations, for comfort in inclement weather.

Compactness

The small size of the sleeveless allows it to be tucked into a rucksack to carry with you when needed. By using the right construction and fabric, the product folds down to a compact size.

Technologies

DWR

Hydrophobic technology used in textiles that require resistance to water and snow. It allows moisture to glide across the surface of the fabric instead of being absorbed.

DURASTRETCH

A fabric used in the production of outdoor clothing by the Salewa brand. It is characterised by good perspiration wicking, elasticity and high tear resistance. DURASTRETCH garments are therefore comfortable and durable.

POLARLITE

An innovative fleece that provides high insulation and maintains body heat, as well as helping to wick away perspiration and thus prevent hypothermia. POLARLITE is used in the manufacture of fleece jackets, as an inner lining in softshell and hardshell jackets and as a thermal underwear as it can be worn directly against the skin.

TirolWool® Responsive

Technology using a blend of thermoreactive, synthetic materials laced with TirolWool®. Provides excellent thermal comfort and protects the body from hypothermia.
