Well made, careful stitching, breathable material (not waterproof), strong and well sewn in sole strap, in my opinion for the sole of trail shoes the strap is sewn too close to the heel - it is not in the middle which causes a little difficulty in putting on. The Velcro has a very good hold, due to its size and material it is quite stiff, so we will see how it performs in winter. The stuptuts provide excellent support for the foot, which prevents the entry of mud and stones during the run.
