HOKA men's running shoes Rincon 4 electric cobalt/varsity navy (1155130-ECC)

Men's Running Shoes HOKA Rincon 4 are exceptional footwear designed for runners who value lightness and functionality. Weighing only 228 g, the shoes provide lightness and comfort during running, and the low 5 mm drop promotes a more natural foot position during ground contact, which supports efficient running on asphalt.

Material and Construction

Thanks to the use of double technical jacquard, the HOKA Rincon 4 guarantees breathability and resistance to deformation, which is crucial during intense training. The construction with a padded tongue increases comfort and prevents foot pressure, which is important during long running sessions.

Midsole and Technology

The shoes are equipped with a dual-layer midsole that supports the runner through Active Foot Frame™ technology. This concept focuses on stabilizing the rear part of the foot, allowing better control and confidence with every step. MetaRocker™ technology contributes to smooth transitions during running, promoting a more dynamic foot roll.

Outsole

The rubber outsole made of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) stands out for its excellent abrasion resistance, which extends the shoe's lifespan. The appropriate outsole design ensures optimal grip and protection without limiting flexibility and adaptation to various running surfaces.

Advanced cushioning and stability

The midsole, consisting of two layers, guarantees optimal cushioning and responsiveness. The Active Foot Frame™ technology, focused on the rear part of the foot, stabilizes the foot during running, providing better control and confidence in each step.

EVA
Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, which is a foam-like material used in, among other things, sports shoes and many items of clothing and sports equipment. It provides an optimum balance between flexibility and durability.
MetaRocker™
The rounded geometry of the sole in the front and rear of the shoe supports the natural rolling of the foot when walking. This solution facilitates a dynamic transition from heel to toe, increasing fluidity and economy of movement.

    Faster than Cliftons

I have been running for just over a year. I used to buy Cliftons but was advised to try the Rincons, which are supposedly faster. I was a bit sceptical but as the Rincons were at a good price I bought them. After today's training I am delighted. Not as much cushioning as the Cliftons but the speed.... wow. I ran at such a rhythm to get, as I usually do on a leisurely workout, 5:30/km. With the same running parameters I'm averaging 5:15/km. Well, I can see that the Cliftons will stay for daily training and the Rincons will become starting shoes. I dread to think what happens when the shoes have a carbon insole....

    Revelation!!!

I run between 30 and 50km a week, I recently used Hoka Clifton 9,I am very happy with them. I've done about 1000km in them, I can already feel the cushioning, but they are still in great condition, they haven't cracked anywhere, I can still easily run km in the woods and on soft ground, without a significant feeling of lack of cushioning. However, I no longer wear them on asphalt. Given the very high quality of the Cliftons, I bought the Hoka Rincon 4 this time with shorter distances in mind. In my opinion they are the best! So far I have done 40 km of training in them (including intervals at a pace of about 4.30 4.40 and faster runs) as well as the start of a dash at an average pace of 4.50, and I can say that they are mega dynamic, lightweight and really comfortable. Compared to the Cliftons, they are harder, but they really don't lack cushioning; I would even be tempted to say that you can run a marathon in them at 75 kg, as I do. In a word:

A dozen runs behind me already and I am delighted with these shoes. Beginner runner, first running shoe and hit the jackpot! I really appreciate the lightness of the shoe and the great cushioning thanks to the foam on tarmac runs. I highly recommend

How to measure the length of your foot - instructions in 4 steps

    1. Prepare a sheet of paper and set it on a hard, non-slippery surface - it is best to tape it to the floor.

2 Stand barefoot on a piece of paper - distribute your body weight evenly and set your foot straight.

    3. Mark the tip of the big toe and the back of the heel - preferably holding the pencil vertically.

    4. Take off the foot and measure the distance between the marks - this is the length of the foot. Repeat for the other foot and choose a larger measurement, matching it to the size chart.
