Skeg mounting
Pinpack OPTY has a factory-fitted skeg mount, which is a place to attach a fin that improves directional stability. The skeg stabilises the course and reduces side-to-side yawing, especially when paddling on flat water. The advantage is easier course maintenance and a more efficient pace, as you lose less energy on corrections. The skeg is not included in the Pinpack OPTY set.
