The DWR coating makes the fabric water repellent, so that water forms droplets on its surface and runs off instead of soaking in. This protects the fabric from getting wet quickly, providing greater comfort in wet conditions, but does not guarantee full water repellency.

Carrying system used in Osprey rucksacks. Designed for the best possible ventilation and comfort. The back panel of the backpack has a mesh fabric stretched over a frame. A space is created between the backpack and the back, allowing air to flow freely.

A helmet-to-backpack attachment system developed by the Ospray brand. The helmet is securely carried on the outside of the rucksack and protected from scratches.
