The Dainese Elemento ski helmet represents the pinnacle of head protection, combining innovative technological solutions with practical design. This gives skiers a helmet that offers the highest level of safety without compromising on lightness and wearing comfort.

The outer shell made of polycarbonate is characterized by high resistance to impacts and scratches, which is crucial in skiing conditions where the risk of collisions and falls is significant. Meanwhile, the inner EPS shell is designed to maximize impact energy absorption.

The ear section geometry, inspired by auxetic shapes found in nature, provides expansion in every direction under impact or pressure. It is a soft and breathable part that comfortably wraps around, while allowing the user to freely perceive sounds from the surroundings.

The Elemento helmet features a thermoformed, removable liner that provides warmth and breathability. This liner enables quick absorption of sweat and moisture, ensuring comfort and freshness even during intense use.

Impact protection

Skiing is classified as a high-risk sport, which means that the greatest possible protection is required during skiing. The helmet offers impact protection, which increases the user[s safety on the slopes.

PC shell

The shell is made of durable polycarbonate. It is a durable and abrasion- and impact-resistant material, characterised by its low weight. It is able to dissipate more impact force than thermoplastic and is relatively cheap to produce, resulting in a more attractive helmet price.

EN 1077 certification

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception. They do not, however, provide protection against injuries that may occur in the event of an accident.

EPS inner shell
