The K2 Emphasis ski helmet is an advanced protective device that combines the latest safety and comfort technologies to provide skiers and snowboarders with optimal protection on the slopes. It is a helmet with a Hard-Shell construction, which means it has a hard outer shell that provides maximum impact protection.

The full head coverage Full Wrap system ensures that the helmet is well fitted to the shape of the head, which not only increases comfort but also raises the level of safety. A well-fitted helmet is a key element in providing effective protection.

The helmet is also equipped with a Baseline Audio System, meaning it has an integrated audio system that allows listening to music or communicating with others without the need to remove the helmet.

Impact protection

Hardshell construction

This is a European safety certificate which certifies that the helmet has passed crash and point tests. The first part of the test determines the maximum force that can act on the helmet during a collision, checking absorption through deformation, while the second tests the strength of the shell during point impacts, such as with a ski pole.

Buckle fastening

The chin strap uses a classic buckle fastening. It is easy to use, but fastening and unfastening it can be problematic with winter gloves. It will work well with helmets designed for slightly older children.

Soft ear muffs

Soft ear muffs are a different helmet design with ear muffs that are not overlapped by the helmet shell. They are extremely soft and protect the ears from the cold without interfering with sound reception.
