The photochromic windscreen provides comfort when driving in changing weather and lighting conditions. The photochromic lens adjusts the degree of darkening itself, protecting the eyes from sudden glare and preventing insufficient visibility when driving into shaded areas.
Glazing category S1-S3
The S1-S3 rated glazing is a variable brightness glazing that adapts its shading to the prevailing light conditions on the slopes. On cloudy days they take on the S1 category, during moderate conditions S2 and in stronger sunlight S3.
Anti-Fog coating
Temperature fluctuations can cause unwanted fogging on the inside of the lens. To prevent this effect from occurring, the lens is treated with a special coating that prevents fogging. This increases safety and comfort when on the slopes.
A system used by the Salomon brand. It provides ventilation for ski goggles, thanks to inlet channels in the upper frame and outlet channels in the lower frame. As a result, fresh air constantly flows through the goggles and moisture is wicked away.
Very good goggles. Visually they look great, build quality high with attention to detail. The photochromic lens slightly tints the colours pink. The version with orange glass has a more neutral image. I didn't get a chance to test them in the ride as I ended up choosing a different model - the Atomic Recent L HD. I have a fairly wide nose and the Salomons put a bit of pressure on the sides, which caused discomfort. In addition, I was a bit bothered by the fact that you could see the lower part of the frame from the corner of my eye. I found the Atomic goggles more comfortable, but in terms of glass and quality of vision the Salomon more versatile.
Bardzo dobre gogle. Wizualnie prezentują się świetnie, jakość wykonania wysoka z dbałością o detale. Szyba fotochrom delikatnie zabarwia kolory na różowo. Wersja z pomarańczową szyba ma bardziej neutralny obraz. Nie miałem okazji przetestować ich w jeździe, ponieważ ostatecznie wybrałem inny model - Atomic Recent L HD. Mam dosyć szeroki nos i Salomony nieco uciskały po bokach, co powodowało dyskomfort. Dodatkowo, trochę przeszkadzało mi, że widać dolną część ramki kątem oka. Gogle Atomic dla mnie wygodniejsze, ale pod względem szyby i jakości widzenia to Salomon bardziej wszechstronne.
