Waterproof membrane Scarpa HDry®
The use of the Scarpa HDry® membrane effectively protects the interior of the footwear from water ingress while walking in snow or on wet rocks. The special construction of this layer blocks moisture from the outside while allowing accumulated water vapour to evaporate outside the shoe. During long hours of climbing, the climber can rely on protection against soaking even with prolonged contact with melting snow and ice.
Vibram® Mont sole
The Vibram® Mont sole provides secure contact with the ground when walking on rocks and snow. The specially designed tread effectively grips the uneven terrain, supporting movement on steep sections. During technical high-altitude climbing, each step gains stable support thanks to this design.
Full protective rim
The use of a full protective collar effectively shields the upper from impacts with stones and contact with sharp edges. The peripheral design of this element absorbs the pressure force, reducing the risk of damage during intensive walking in rough terrain.
