The crampons have a special connector in their design between the heel area and the metatarsal and toe area. This connector is adjustable, allowing a free fit to the shoe size.

The front has the same attachment system as the baskets, while the rear is the same as the automatics. These crampons are stiffer and quicker to put on than basket crampons. Footwear for this attachment requires a special groove at the back, at the heel.
