This model stands out for its very low weight, which is about 175 g. It is one of the lightest helmets in Salewa's range. This was achieved thanks to a thoughtful design and the use of In-Mold construction. The EPP foam inside is bonded to a durable outer shell made of PC. Your head will be protected because the foam absorbs the impact force. A high level of safety is confirmed by the EN 12492 and UIAA 106 standards.

The low-profile design of the Piuma 3.0 helmet provides a wide field of vision, which is extremely important in demanding mountain terrain. The front, side, and rear protection has been improved, increasing safety during climbing. An additional advantage is the removable liner. It absorbs excess sweat, helping to maintain hygienic and dry conditions inside the helmet.
