HOKA men's running shoes Challenger ATR 7 blue-orange 1134497-CVOR (1134497-CVOR)

If you are looking for running shoes that provide durability and comfort not only on asphalt but also in challenging terrain, the men's Challenger ATR 7 shoes from the HOKA brand are the perfect choice. Here we present all the features that make this model an excellent solution for every runner.

The Challenger ATR 7 shoes offer excellent comfort during running, thanks in part to the lightweight and thicker midsole made of CMEVA foam compared to the previous version. This provides better cushioning, which minimizes the impact forces on the joints.

The HOKA brand places great emphasis on environmental protection. Therefore, a large amount of recycled materials was used in the production of this men's shoe model. The upper part of the shoe is well ventilated, ensuring that the foot is always dry and fresh. This means that besides environmental benefits, these shoes also provide comfort during running.

    Versatile

This is my second pair of these shoes, from the end-of-line stock of the 7th generation. The first pair really helped me get into running. Perfect for running to the woods or a park on hard surfaces, and then running on relatively undemanding soft trails – gravel, dirt tracks, preferably without roots or large stones, given the moderate toe protection. I wouldn’t recommend them, however, if you’re expecting mud on the route after rain. Because of the foam in the central section, running on mud in these is like skiing. The upper is made of breathable mesh. It feels comfortable on the foot. I get the impression that the pair from the end of the production run has a stiffer sole than those from the start of production. It also has a less durable tread. However, after covering over 800 km, the improved durability of the interior and upper is evident. Only on the inside, around the heels, is there minimal wear.

    Versatile

My first pair of these shoes, from the very start of the 7th generation’s production run. They’ve been the backbone of my running. They’re perfect for running to the woods or a park on hard surfaces, and then running on relatively undemanding soft trails – gravel, dirt tracks, preferably without roots or large stones, given the moderate toe protection. I wouldn’t recommend them, however, if you’re expecting mud on the route after rain. Because of the foam in the central part, you can glide over mud in them as if on skis. The upper is made of breathable mesh. Comfortable on the foot. A pair from the early production run has a quite soft and extremely durable sole. After covering nearly 1,300 km at a weight of around 70 kg, they still feel responsive, and the tread is moderately worn. However, the interior around the heels started to wear out quickly. It started to wear through at around 500 km, but remained functional until about 1,200 km, when the mesh on the upper gave way.

    Typical training

Not to be messed with in training. For any surface. I have several pairs of Challengers and will have more. When they run out of jdkobtreningiwe, they are then used for walking. I have a rule of thumb that I run 600-650 km in the shoes and then just for walking. I run from the city to the forest and they perform sensationally.

    Super training

These are the best and most versatile Hoka model for training. I run from the city to the forest and they can handle any terrain. They are ideal for long base runs and can also handle intervals with ease. After running wear, I use them for walking every day. Very durable. Washed several times and the outside still looks like new.

    Great shoe

I've run almost 500 km in them and they still look and dampen like new. In the beginning you need to get used to the shoe before it stretches out, about 50-100 km if you have a wider foot. It is also important to tie the shoe correctly and it will reward you with the joy of running. :) It is better to choose a bigger size by EUR 0,5. I have a foot size of 28,5 cm = EUR 44, but 28,5 cm is up to EUR 44,5 for HOKA. If you have a wider foot, feel free to choose the Wide version.

    Very good, not perfect...

Slightly too narrow at the front of the foot, despite the fact that I have a small foot they put a little pressure ..., otherwise great and for the forest and asphalt, quite light, we'll see how the durability will be .... In general, at the promotional price of about 400zł I recommend.

Unfortunately they slightly knead the front of my foot - too narrow?, even though I don't have a big foot....

How to measure the length of your foot - instructions in 4 steps

    1. Prepare a sheet of paper and set it on a hard, non-slippery surface - it is best to tape it to the floor.

2 Stand barefoot on a piece of paper - distribute your body weight evenly and set your foot straight.

    3. Mark the tip of the big toe and the back of the heel - preferably holding the pencil vertically.

    4. Take off the foot and measure the distance between the marks - this is the length of the foot. Repeat for the other foot and choose a larger measurement, matching it to the size chart.
