They allow you to adjust the release force of your skis, which is an important element responsible for safety when skiing. When adjusting, you need to take into account your weight and height, the size of your boot shell and your level of skiing.
Skistoper
The bindings are equipped with a skistopper. This is a kind of brake which prevents the ski from skidding off on its own when an accidental release occurs. The arms of the ski stopper extend and dig into the ground, which also causes the ski to partially lift upwards.
A state-of-the-art ski binding system using 180° release. This minimises the risk of falls.
AFS
Anti Friction Slider - a slippery plate from TYROLIA used by, among others, the Head brand in ski bindings. It ensures that the boot slides out of the binding safely and quickly in the event of a fall, for example. It also helps you to centre your boots precisely when skiing.
FRP
A system in ski bindings consisting of four rollers and a strap. The special design allows the binding to release quickly in the event of an accident.
