A fabric made of polyamide fibres, coated with a layer of Teflon, renowned for its extraordinary resistance to adverse external factors. The fabric is lightweight, waterproof and very durable. The specially designed construction of the panels and the use of shaped foam (on some models) means that the material is not in direct contact with the back and allows efficient air circulation. The Alpinus Comfort System also features ventilation holes along the spine to further improve airflow and comfort on hot days.

D-Tech technology is the production method for the durable and lightweight fabric used in Alpinus rucksacks. It is characterised by a unique structure, which resembles the appearance of small diamonds. Its most important feature is its resistance to tearing - in the event of damage, the material does not further tear, peel or warp.
