Rossignol Hero Depart is a ski jacket model that will meet the expectations of even the most demanding skiers for whom hours of activity in freezing winter days is a daily routine. Thanks to its construction and many functional solutions, the jacket is versatile and effectively protects the user from adverse weather conditions during both sports and recreational activities.

In this design, the renowned French brand Rossignol opted for an effective membrane with a two-layer construction. It is located just under the outer fabric and is additionally protected by a thin lining, which forms a separate layer. This enhances the comfort in the Hero Depart model, effectively protecting against moisture, rain, snow, and wind. The membrane also features a high breathability coefficient, so the user is not exposed to overheating during intense activity or slightly warmer days.

For an even better moisture protection effect, a hydrophobic DWR finish, waterproof zippers, and taped seams were applied to the fabric surface. This improves the jacket's waterproof properties and retains moisture and water longer. Moreover, the use of fabric that stretches in two directions ensures maximum flexibility and freedom of movement.

High thermal comfort in the Rossignol Hero Depart ski jacket is provided by the Primaloft insulation used. Synthetic fibers made from recycled polyester create small pockets that effectively trap air. This ensures a comfortable temperature on a freezing day, even in wet conditions.

Windproofing, which is an undeniable advantage of the Hero Depart jacket, protects the skier from penetrating cold wind during slope activities. The applied technologies and material structure block gusts that could lead to body cooling during hours of outdoor activity.

The jacket's construction includes a special snow skirt, which forms an excellent barrier against snow getting under the jacket, especially during falls. An unquestionable advantage of the Hero Depart ski jacket model is the ability to mechanically control ventilation using zippered vents under the armpits. The vents allow for the quick release of excess warm air accumulated under the jacket.
