Atomic Backland Expert UL is the top model of ski touring boots, designed for skiers demanding the most advanced technological solutions. Durable, lightweight, and fast — they perfectly fit the philosophy of fast and light ski touring.

The boots are equipped with the Frictionless Pivot mechanism — a polymer, ergonomic design that does not restrict the natural movement of the user while skiing. The boot shell made of fiberglass provides stability, speed, and performance, and their width is 98 mm.

The new Speed Strap cuff closure system integrates the buckle and strap into one, allowing for a quick switch from walk mode to ski mode. The solid FREE / LOCK 4.0 ski/walk mode change system allows adjustment of the forward lean and is easy to clean from snow and ice. The boots are protected by a Dura Shield coating, which guards them against everyday wear.
